Socialism, a “Fresh” Idea that Reeks of Ancient Failure

I heard a very interesting topic on the Quinn and Rose morning show today that I wanted to share with the world. Progressives like to think that their liberal/socialist ideals are "new" and "fresh," and they criticize the conservatives and the founding fathers that their ideals are old and worn out and "do not fit with our modern way of life." Well I got news for you… Socialism has been around a lot longer than the progressives want you to believe. Not only has it been around for thousands of years… it has failed every time! To truly understand socialism and the instances where it has been tried in the past, let's look at the core of socialism and go over what it involves. Socialism/Liberalism in today's society is the idea that everything is done for the greater good of the community. There would have to be core systems which provide essential services to all people equally. Sound nice and utopian doesn't it? Here's the harsh reality… To achieve this kind of system in today's society, Government would have to grow to even more massive than it already is. They would have to grow so powerful that they would have to literally control everything around us! The media, healthcare, what we eat, what we drink, what we buy, what we own, where we go, and even what we think. They would tax us out the ass and redistribute the wealth to the lesser fortunate or those people who are just too lazy and realize that they can just rely on the government to provide. All the while the powerful government would be getting richer; and the people would become more and more oppressed! Sound's kind of shitty when you look at the reality of socialism doesn't it? With that said, does anyone realize a similar system to what I just described? Doesn't it sound like Medieval Feudalism? The common presents during medieval times were not slaves to their lord, they were dependent upon him for their living. These presents, also called serfs were obligated to work for their lords… They could serve the lord by working the land or working in another way in the lord's service, these medieval peasants, eked out a living that was meager at best. Those medieval peasants that lived a farming serf's life were expected to give the lord a percentage of their harvested crops for payment in exchange for the use of the land. They also had to pay a tithe to the church. Once this was done, medieval serfs had very little money or crops left for themselves. All the while the lord's got all the best crops, and all the best livestock, and most of all… the wealth! The lords and clergy would spew propaganda to keep the serfs in line and keep them from wanting to revolt. Despite their best efforts, the serfs eventually realized they were getting the shitty end of the deal and rose up against their lords. In today's society, we need to realize that Government is NOT the answer! The Obama administration is trying desperately to gain power and wealth and oppress and brainwash the people of this country with Socialist propaganda. Liberalism/Socialism is NOT the new and fresh idea that they want you to believe! The country we know and love will not survive if we allow a Socialist agenda to be put into place! Spread the word! November is coming up and I can't wait to change history!

Oil, Oil, Everywhere, Who’s to Blame? Does Anyone Care?

As a biologist, I felt personally obligated to comment on the oil spill in the gulf. You may be wondering what took me so long. Well folks, I wanted to just sit back and see what would happen… and frankly, it SUCKS! The situation down there is getting out of hand and I believe there is so much bureaucratic bullshit going on, it makes it hard to get anything done. First of all you have BP that has been cited for safety violations ON THAT SAME RIG during the Bush administration. BP really needs to get their heads out of their ass and start to take some responsibility! Now that I got that off my chest, let me get to who I REALLY blame for the mess down there. The Government! First and foremost The environmental wackjob leftists in the EPA need to get their heads out of their ass and realize that it was THEIR restrictions on where companies could drill for oil that cause this huge mess! Do you want to know the reason why we now have billions of gallons of oil and hazardous clean-up chemicals in the Gulf right now? Because the EPA forced companies to drill MILES off the coast where it’s at least a mile before you even reach the bottom of the ocean floor! At that depth it’s impossible for divers to go to and it’s very difficult for these unmanned robots to get anything done. If the EPA would have allowed the oil companies to drill where they wanted, the leak would have been stopped in days instead of the weeks and maybe even months with how log taking right now. Who knows what the next several weeks of oil spillage has in store for the Gulf coast region. Animals will die, beaches will be ruined, and the fishing industry will be crippled, all because of the nut-jobs in the EPA were trying to HELP the environment by bossing the oil companies to appease the enviro-weenies! GREAT JOB! Another problem I have the oil spill is how the Obama administration is handling the situation. They have sat back and done NOTHING all the while saying they are on top of it and then they have the audacity to tell BP to “Plug the damn hole” or they will get pushed out of the way. LOL. What a bunch of misfits we have running the country! Oh and another tid-bit of info that I would like to share… you know that same oil rig that is now at the bottom of the Gulf that got a bunch of safety violations during the bush administration? Obama’s administration gave them an award for safety about a month before it blew up. LOL! Another GREAT JOB from the Great One and his band of miscreants. The moral of this blog is that limited government is the key to a successful and safe society and that over regulation only leads to bigger problems down the line.

Splitting the Country in Two. A look at how the progressives are trying to divide and conquer us.

Ask anyone this past two weeks and the “hot button” issue is by far immigration reform. Arizona has just passed a bill that will allow local law officials to enforce the somewhat ignored federal immigration law. Many states are following close behind. It’s no wonder why the states are lining up to pass similar laws... Immigrants that pay no taxes, but still get paid under the table and use government programs are a drain on the economy and the local, state and federal budget (Which are all funded by OUR tax dollars!). Some immigrants have also been responsible for drug, human trafficking, and even murder and kidnapping of American citizens. Despite all of these issues with immigrants, the progressive’s label the people that support the AZ law racists. They tell everyone that we are not compassionate enough and that these people just want a better life for themselves. They use this propaganda to steal the hearts of the weak minded and turn them against any and all opposition. I urge you not to be fooled by this propaganda. There whole point is to divide us. When we are divided due to false and exaggerated propaganda, they can pass anything they want to pass behind a smoke screen. The national media's response to the Arizona law is a perfect example of this type of propaganda. The people of the state of Arizona wanted to stop the killing and kidnapping and they took a pro-active approach by adopting this law! I do not find this law racist! I do not find this law heartless! I think it is a very good first step in the fight against the immigrants that are destroying the country. I’m sure by now you are wondering, why would the progressives want to allow these illegal immigrants in? Several reasons! One, VOTES! These people will vote for any asshole politician that allows them to live here. This is why the current administration is pushing for amnesty. The second reason is power. With the illegals cause havoc on our economy, it forces Americans to become more reliant on the government and therefore giving them more power over the people. Now, the progressives want you to believe that the only way to help out the immigrants (for those of you with a heavy heart and a weak mind) is with amnesty. Again, this is more propaganda used to split the country! What is REALLY needed is a way to encourage good hard working immigrants that want a better life to come into the country while keeping the lazy and the criminals out. How can we do this? Here’s how! First thing we need to do is streamline the process of allowing a certain number of immigrants in every year and make it a little cheaper for them. This will allow the people in that just want a better life for themselves. The second thing that needs done is not allow them to take part in any government funded programs for at least 10 years. This will ensure that they WORK for their living and don’t just suckle off of the mother government that is our welfare system. To discourage criminals we need to enact a sort of probation period for all immigrants that in those first 10 years or so, they cannot engage in illegal activity. If they do so they will be punished with harsh penalties which may even include sending them back and never allowing them to come back. These 10 years will be tough on an immigrant, but if they prove to be hard working and strive to be a worthy addition to the American society, they will be granted full citizenship. I feel this is a great way to give people the American dream without being a drain on our economy and our tax dollars. Instead of allowing the progressives in power to divide us as a people, we need to THINK for ourselves and come up with solutions that will work and then get those put into laws. We need to take a pro-active approach to these issues instead of just bickering about it!

GO ARIZONA!!!

Several years ago it was a joke when someone would say that they got the news from the Daily show… but lately it sadly seems to be the norm! Not only have Americans lost the ability to think for themselves, but it seems they actually believe what they hear from the liberal comedians. During this past week the big story has been the immigration legislature passed in Arizona. The major news stations have all said what a horrible thing this was and the comedians have had their fill of bashing it to hell and back. But despite all of this, I for one approve of the legislature because it protects our rights as Americans and punishes those who are here illegally. I did NOT however come to this conclusion just because I let Glenn Beck think for me… I read the bill for myself! All 17 pages of it! I can almost guarantee that almost everyone bitching about the contents of this bill, doesn’t actually know what is in it!!! Here are the facts:

It is a bill that enhances existing laws and allows the police to do their jobs and keep the streets free of illegals. Here’s how it will work… The officer needs to encounter the person in question in a legal way. i.e. a domestic dispute, pulling over the car for speeding, etc. The officer can then, with probable cause, research the persons immigration status, just as a cop could search for arrest records or warrants for ANYONE, they encounter. If found to be illegal, the person will not only be fined for the crime they committed they will also be put in the custody of the immigration authority and deported. There is even a clause in there for the protection of American citizens who are mistakenly labeled an illegal immigrant. More importantly, there are sections which give harsher punishments on those Americans who hire, hide, or transport illegal immigrants.

Does that sound like something that is racist? Does it sound like it is unconstitutional? Heck NO! I think this bill is great! I think it is well thought out and really gives us the protections we need. I really hope that other states follow in the footsteps of Arizona.

The reaction from the left is nothing short of hilarious and expected. Some people are going as far as saying it is like Nazism! This is completely outrages and shows not only their lack of knowledge, but also their lack of reading the bill in question. The point of all this is that we as an American people need to wake up and stop following whatever the mainstream media tells us! START THINKING FOR YOURSELF AMERICA!!!

A Look at Classical Liberalism

If you happen to look up ‘’Liberalism” on google, the first result to pop up is the Wikipedia and according to Wikipedia, the definition of liberalism is as follows:

“Liberalism is the belief in the importance of liberty and equality. Liberals espouse a wide array of views depending on their understanding of these principles, but most liberals support such fundamental ideas as constitutions, liberal democracy, free and fair elections, human rights, free trade, secularism, and the market economy.”

It’s odd that these ideals coincide with the same principles that I hold. But I’m a conservative! So why is there such an antagonistic difference between the “classic liberalism” and the “modern liberalism?”

I truly believe that the inconsistencies between the multiple definitions of liberalism can be contributed to the sheer fact that people cannot think for themselves. The past several generations have been brainwashed into thinking this way. Think about it… everything we do is all about conformity! Everything we do is scrutinized, poked and prodded from the day we set foot in the classroom! If you’re lucky, you can get through it with some sense of self. It’s sad to see some many people who just follow the crowd. You see, the whole system, it’s all one big mind-screw! Look at it this way, the word liberalism means freedom in and of itself, and in today’s society we use it to trick ourselves into believing we are free, but we have been so “Oprafied” that it doesn’t even register that we have been tricked. Our freedom is completely superficial!

Here are some examples of real life situations where the systems we have in place have completely locked us into this vicious cycle of conformity… First off, let’s look at the political system… There are fundamental problems when you only have a choice of only two people who are both liars and out for just themselves! Seriously if you are not too blinded by the system and actually contemplating what I’m saying, ask yourself when the last election was that WASN’T the lesser of two evils… Now let’s look at some social systems… we have a welfare system that rewards failure and encourages the poor to stay poor. What kind of freedom is that? There is not sense of self respect anymore. Kids growing up in the “bad” part of town have no chance! They are taught from the beginning that the government will provide for them, so no need to excel in anything. Is that the kind of freedom and equality you want for this country? Look at our school systems. They are government run and only teach the kids what they want to make good conforming students. If you are a skeptic of mine, right now you are probably thinking “ya right Jonny” I got a great education! Let me ask you this then… if being liberal means believing in constitutions, why didn’t we ever learn about WHY the constitution was written? Sure we can recite the amendments and so on, but how many of you can tell me the ideas behind why the constitution was written the way it was? What the principals that the founding fathers had were? I bet very few of you out there have no knowledge of these principals.

The point of all this is to show everyone that the government we have in place right now and for the past several decades goes against EVERYTHING in the ideology of classic Liberalism. All of the beliefs listed above are under attack from the so called “Liberals.” I hope that if you have made it this far reading this you are as convinced as I am that something needs to be done! We NEED to learn as much as we can about the principals this country was founded on and truly put classical liberalism back in place. If you have read this far and believe I’m just one of those crazy conservative people, then I’m sorry friend, your mind is a victim of the system itself and there is probably no hope for you unless you open your mind to new ideas. Please do. It will help everyone!
