As a biologist, I felt personally obligated to comment on the oil spill in the gulf. You may be wondering what took me so long. Well folks, I wanted to just sit back and see what would happen… and frankly, it SUCKS! The situation down there is getting out of hand and I believe there is so much bureaucratic bullshit going on, it makes it hard to get anything done. First of all you have BP that has been cited for safety violations ON THAT SAME RIG during the Bush administration. BP really needs to get their heads out of their ass and start to take some responsibility! Now that I got that off my chest, let me get to who I REALLY blame for the mess down there. The Government! First and foremost The environmental wackjob leftists in the EPA need to get their heads out of their ass and realize that it was THEIR restrictions on where companies could drill for oil that cause this huge mess! Do you want to know the reason why we now have billions of gallons of oil and hazardous clean-up chemicals in the Gulf right now? Because the EPA forced companies to drill MILES off the coast where it’s at least a mile before you even reach the bottom of the ocean floor! At that depth it’s impossible for divers to go to and it’s very difficult for these unmanned robots to get anything done. If the EPA would have allowed the oil companies to drill where they wanted, the leak would have been stopped in days instead of the weeks and maybe even months with how log taking right now. Who knows what the next several weeks of oil spillage has in store for the Gulf coast region. Animals will die, beaches will be ruined, and the fishing industry will be crippled, all because of the nut-jobs in the EPA were trying to HELP the environment by bossing the oil companies to appease the enviro-weenies! GREAT JOB! Another problem I have the oil spill is how the Obama administration is handling the situation. They have sat back and done NOTHING all the while saying they are on top of it and then they have the audacity to tell BP to “Plug the damn hole” or they will get pushed out of the way. LOL. What a bunch of misfits we have running the country! Oh and another tid-bit of info that I would like to share… you know that same oil rig that is now at the bottom of the Gulf that got a bunch of safety violations during the bush administration? Obama’s administration gave them an award for safety about a month before it blew up. LOL! Another GREAT JOB from the Great One and his band of miscreants. The moral of this blog is that limited government is the key to a successful and safe society and that over regulation only leads to bigger problems down the line.

Splitting the Country in Two. A look at how the progressives are trying to divide and conquer us.
Ask anyone this past two weeks and the “hot button” issue is by far immigration reform. Arizona has just passed a bill that will allow local law officials to enforce the somewhat ignored federal immigration law. Many states are following close behind. It’s no wonder why the states are lining up to pass similar laws... Immigrants that pay no taxes, but still get paid under the table and use government programs are a drain on the economy and the local, state and federal budget (Which are all funded by OUR tax dollars!). Some immigrants have also been responsible for drug, human trafficking, and even murder and kidnapping of American citizens. Despite all of these issues with immigrants, the progressive’s label the people that support the AZ law racists. They tell everyone that we are not compassionate enough and that these people just want a better life for themselves. They use this propaganda to steal the hearts of the weak minded and turn them against any and all opposition. I urge you not to be fooled by this propaganda. There whole point is to divide us. When we are divided due to false and exaggerated propaganda, they can pass anything they want to pass behind a smoke screen. The national media's response to the Arizona law is a perfect example of this type of propaganda. The people of the state of Arizona wanted to stop the killing and kidnapping and they took a pro-active approach by adopting this law! I do not find this law racist! I do not find this law heartless! I think it is a very good first step in the fight against the immigrants that are destroying the country. I’m sure by now you are wondering, why would the progressives want to allow these illegal immigrants in? Several reasons! One, VOTES! These people will vote for any asshole politician that allows them to live here. This is why the current administration is pushing for amnesty. The second reason is power. With the illegals cause havoc on our economy, it forces Americans to become more reliant on the government and therefore giving them more power over the people. Now, the progressives want you to believe that the only way to help out the immigrants (for those of you with a heavy heart and a weak mind) is with amnesty. Again, this is more propaganda used to split the country! What is REALLY needed is a way to encourage good hard working immigrants that want a better life to come into the country while keeping the lazy and the criminals out. How can we do this? Here’s how! First thing we need to do is streamline the process of allowing a certain number of immigrants in every year and make it a little cheaper for them. This will allow the people in that just want a better life for themselves. The second thing that needs done is not allow them to take part in any government funded programs for at least 10 years. This will ensure that they WORK for their living and don’t just suckle off of the mother government that is our welfare system. To discourage criminals we need to enact a sort of probation period for all immigrants that in those first 10 years or so, they cannot engage in illegal activity. If they do so they will be punished with harsh penalties which may even include sending them back and never allowing them to come back. These 10 years will be tough on an immigrant, but if they prove to be hard working and strive to be a worthy addition to the American society, they will be granted full citizenship. I feel this is a great way to give people the American dream without being a drain on our economy and our tax dollars. Instead of allowing the progressives in power to divide us as a people, we need to THINK for ourselves and come up with solutions that will work and then get those put into laws. We need to take a pro-active approach to these issues instead of just bickering about it!
